Working with color selector

Color selector is a tool that will help you to set the color or color gradient for an item.

First of all you must create a new element like a text or a rectangle.

The color palette is situated near the time line.

In case of a rectangle you can choose the color and transparency for each corner so you can obtain linear gradients.

Vertical, horizontal or oblique gradients can be obtain.

No matter what kind of item you will have the color palette is the same for all of them.

In the first example we will present you the shapes and how you can change their color.

The color picker dialog has several controls :
  - the color picker
  - the RGB and HSV color buttons
  - the color cells where you can save colors for a later use and where actually you finally choose the color for your shape.

The values of the colors are represented as digitally 8 bit per channel so you can set colors values between 0 and 255.

The alpha channel value can be also set between 0 (fully transparent )and 255( fully opaque ).

If you want to create gradients for rectangles you can do that by setting colors and corresponding alpha channels for each corner.
